Jubilee, Nasa Supporters Clash Outside KICC in Nairobi

Chaos erupted in the middle of Nairobi on Monday when supporters of the National Super Alliance (NASA) and Jubilee Party clashed outside the Kenyatta International Conference Center (KICC), with both sides throwing stones to each other and causing traffic snarl-up in town.

The two groups held the city at ransom for a period before they were dispersed by rain.

The fracas started around 3:30pm as President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto presented their papers to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) for clearance.
