We Want NASA to Go ahead with the Swearing-in Ceremony, Jubilee Party Vice Chair Says

Jubilee Party Vice Chairman David Murathe says that the party wants National Super Alliance (Nasa) to go ahead with the planned swearing in of its leader Raila Odinga, set for Tuesday.

Murathe said that allowing the opposition to hold the fete will finally enable the country move on from last year's disputed presidential election.

"We want them to finish the so-called swearing-in so that we put behind us these endless and meaningless threats," he said.

Speaking to Sunday Nation, Murathe downplayed claims that the government has panicked over the plan, noting that President Kenyatta and Deputy President are focused on delivering their agenda.

"We are not bothered at all by their actions and if you have noticed, at no point has the President and Deputy President pronounced themselves on this circus," he noted.

"The only challenge, though, is the climate of uncertainty and anxiety, which Nasa is creating. No self-respecting government can watch helplessly as our economy is destabilised by a people keen on fomenting a revolution," Murathe told the Nation.

Conflicting message from Murathe....or maybe I just don't understand what he's saying. Is he, Murathe, suggesting that letting raila apishwa will then mean that raila and his goons will go home one happy lot? Try another! Or is Murathe wooing the rat into the bag then the noose will be slipped? The later sounds more like it.....panya anaswe!

We always wonder for how long the affairs of this nation shall be crippled by this one psychopath/socialpath and his deranged self seeking followers who care less about the country. What is so important about this tractor mechanic besides being Oginga's son but nothing to show as regards Kenyans welfare but their blood on his hands? A man disturbing the nation for decades over his boyhood dreams despite lacking merits for the coveted position.
