President Uhuru Dares Politicians Accusing Him of Corruption to Table Evidence to DCI

President Kenyatta has dared politicians linking him to corruption to report him to the relevant authorities.

Speaking while officially opening the sixth annual Devolution Conference in Kirinyaga University on Tuesday, President Uhuru has asked those accusing him of stealing public property to present their evidence to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

“I heard someone saying that I had stolen somebody else’s property, I want to tell them to go to the DCI offices and report what Uhuru Kenyatta has stolen,” said Kenyatta o Tuesday.

He added: “But don’t go round threatening people by mentioning things in funerals, that person who has died will not help you; only the DCI can.”

While reiterating his commitment to taming corruption, Kenyatta has urged political leaders to stop politicizing the war on graft.

“This war (on graft) will not be won in funerals and weddings or anywhere else, we have those who have been tasked with the responsibility of fighting that battle. And I, as well as other Kenyans, believe that those people are capable of doing that work,” Kenyatta states adding that the fight against corruption does not target any specific individual or community.

“It is a war against a crime that robs us the opportunity to build a nation with shared prosperity for all.”

He has also called on the Governors to join him in the war against the vice.

“I call on all Governors to join me in this generational struggle where we must emphatically say No to corruption and reign in on the corrupt within our respective governments with this shared renewed zeal,” Uhuru said.

Put the governors on notice instead if you're truly serious about fighting graft. They are the originators of all this run away corruption we're hearing about.

They're demanding a firmly EXECUTIVE ORDER to curb down corruptions at all position in all the Government agencies. Which should somehow entails- fully protection of whistle-blowers. Once the whistle is blown out should lead to automatically resignation from the post and/or if needed a short jail term so as to pave way for investigation of the said looted fund. Additionally public declaration of worth to all Government agency's employees to be conducted periodical is very crucial.

Don't you think this simple EXECUTIVE ORDER would be feasible than any renewal speech?
