Police Launch Hunt for Man Accused of Sexually Abusing Three Underage Daughters for One Year

Police have launched hunt for a middle-aged man from Kapkiamo village in Baringo County for allegedly abusing and defiling his three underage daughters.

Deputy County Commissioner Obwocha Bobwocha says the man has been sexually abusing the minors in the last one year after their mother fled due to constant domestic quarrels.

The mother of the three girls says she fled her matrimonial home in 2018 after his husband threatened to kill her.

Bobwocha says investigations have established that the man has been sharing a single bed with his three daughters, where he has been repeatedly raping them.

Bobwocha says the man went into hiding after learning police officers are after him.

County Children’s Coordinator Otijom Omutse says the three girls are now in the safe hands of children's department, which will ensure they get necessary assistance including counseling.
