President Uhuru Appoints Prof. Olive Mugenda as Chair of Kenyatta University Hospital Board

Prof. Olive Mugenda has been appointed as the Non-Executive Chairperson of the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral, and Research Hospital board.

Prof. Mugenda has been appointed to the position by President Kenyatta in a gazette notice dated April 1st, 2019.

The former Kenyatta University Vice-Chancellor will chair the board for a period of three years.

Kithinji Kiragu and Gladys Ogallo have also been named as members of the hospital board for the same period.

Prof. Mugenda, who retired as V.C of the institution in 2016 after serving for 10 years, is also a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

She was appointed to JSC by President Uhuru in August 2018.
