Activist Boniface Mwangi Released After Being Arrested for Allegedly ‘Organizing a Revolution’

Human rights activist Boniface Mwangi has been released hours after his arrest on Monday morning.
Mwangi was arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) at his home in Nairobi and was driven to the Central Police Station for questioning.
A statement signed by Central Police Station DCI officer George Muchiri shows Mwangi was apprehended on accusations of organizing a revolution that is likely to cause civil unrest.
“…inquiry into the alleged organization of a revolution likely to cause civil unrest and cause a breach of peace."
“I have reasons to believe that you, Boniface Mwangi, have information that may assist me with the inquiry,” notes Muchiri.
In his response, Mwangi states: “I have understood the question raised by the inquiry but I have nothing to say. That is all I wish to state for now.”
In a tweet after his release, the vocal activist says: “Thank you, everyone, for your voices. l have been released!. Kenyans are angry, hungry and broke. They feel like revolting against bad governance and corruption, and the government is afraid it’s going to happen. Revolution is not treason.”
The arrest is linked to last week's anti-corruption protest dubbed #BeyondZeroCorruption held in Nairobi.

Kenya's are tired of corruption, but our saviour is not Bonace Mwangi, a current day homeguard. He is the front face of the current day missionaries (NGO's). The last thing Kenya needs is foreign engineered revolution. We need our traditions, our belief in our God replacing imported God's customs, fake hairs, foreign fake holidays, foreign names, foreign religions.
We need to find ourselves and we can never find ourselves using foreign systems. Boniface Mwangi is a compromised individual. He is a front of a imperial, colonial, neo-colonial, multi-national, world order/disorder system and we all know what these systems did to our forefathers. These systems and their engineers raped, maimed, sodomized, castrated, hanged and killed our forefathers in the name of mobilizing but instead stole their land and enslaved their human resources. We are yet to come to terms with these actions without shame.

Knowing how Kenyans are unpatriotic and unwilling to volunteer for such causes,I will take Boniface efforts anytime. What I have a problem with is having these politicians wait out till last minute then take over the reins when others have done the hard work. Kenya should have a revolution.

You must be one of those politicians Boniface is talking about. What he is advocating for must have shaken you in the guts for you to orchestrates such propaganda against a civil rights advocate.

Hatukujiumba (we did not create ourselves).

Activists are useless people who never achieve anything material for the causes they fight for. Take for instance Raila's activism. What did it achieve for the masses? Nothing other than getting innocent people killed. Out of the suffering endured by the masses, he himself succeeded in joining current government. So, intelligent Kenyans need shove Mwangi aside.
