Female Cop Attached to Parliament Found Murdered in Her House in Nairobi, Boyfriend on the Run
Police in Nairobi have launched investigations into the brutal killing of a female police officer.
Hellen Kwamboka, an officer attached to Parliament, was found murdered in her house in Nairobi's Umoja Estate on Saturday morning.
Kwamboka's lifeless body was found lying on her bed, with a deep cut inflicted in her head. Police said they found blood splashed all over the house.
Her boyfriend, who has since gone missing, is suspected to have committed the gruesome act.
A report filed at Buruburu police station shows the cop was on duty on Thursday and left at 7 pm. She was supposed to report on Friday but did not turn up.
“She was expected at work on Friday, May 24, but she didn’t show up,” the report reads.
Her colleagues began looking for her after they failed to reach her through the phone.
“They [colleagues] decided to go to her house at Umoja Estate, Gaikuyu Road, plot number 44, house number 42, they found the house locked from [the] inside, and, [consequently], suspected that something was unusual. The house was broken into and the body of the officer was found lying on her bed with a deep cut on her head, and with blood stains all over the house,” the report adds.
Police suspect the deceased was first strangled before being hacked.
“No murder weapon was recovered from the scene, which has been processed by DCI officers.”
“It is believed that a boyfriend, who visited her on May 23, had murdered her before escaping. The phone of the deceased was not traced and seems [it] was stolen and switched off,” said police.

What's going on with men? This deadly assaults on girl friends/spouses ,are happening with alarming frequency.This is terrible.Where are our social scientists to look into what is ailing our communities?There has to be an answer somewhere,or else we are in trouble...
Probably this is a jilted boyfriend,and he is too coward,and not man enough to take it.
Interestingly Eric Omondi admonished breaking parties not to resort to this kind of solution.We need public education on this matter.We need to teach men and women that they can live ontheir own.They do not have to put their lives in someone elses hands.
If someone does not want you, this should to be taken as alearning lesson,and improve on the next one,or stay by yourself,that could be even better for some.
