Aden Duale Speaks After Losing Majority Leader Seat

Garissa Township MP Aden Duale has spoken out following his removal as National Assembly Majority Leader.
Duale was ousted during a Parliamentary Group meeting chaired by President Kenyatta at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi on Monday.
“I came, I saw and I conquered. Today marks the end of my seven years of service to the great people of Kenya as the Leader of Majority of the National Assembly. I was the first occupant of the seat under article 108 of the Constitution,” Duale wrote.
He said he exits the office with his head held high, observing that over 500 government bills and 200 motions were passed under his leadership.
“I am particularly proud that during my service, I was also able to ensure that all the Bills for implementation of the Constitution, financial legislation to implement devolution, and provide services to the people of Kenya and Bills to implement the Big Four Agenda were enacted.”
“But like I have said before, public positions are not to be personalized. When you are given a position you do your best and when the time comes for you to leave, you leave with a smile,” he added.
Duale went ahead to thank President Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto for according him the chance to serve as the country’s first NA majority leader.
“This was not an easy task but one which required that I work with everyone, be it for or friend and in the end and with the help of Allah, I delivered. I indeed thank my party leader H.E Uhuru Kenyatta, for having given me the opportunity to serve the great people of Kenya and for this I am grateful.”
“I am glad that today, I leave with a smile, being proud of what I was able to achieve.”
Duale was replaced with Kipipiri MP Amos Kimunya. 126 out of 179 Jubilee MPs had signed a petition supporting Duale’s ouster.

Put it like this - a lot of tax payers money. He will be losing nearly 1 cool million shillings! His MP pay is above shs 700K. Just imagine how much breakfast bread will be cut out at the dining table Duale’s house!

The great purge continues. To most Kenyans who can't recall the Moi KANU era, this is entertaining and may be even funny. Those who can read between the lines - already know that this is a road to hell. Where anybody who doesn't kiss the behind of the beloved leader is an enemy of the state. Where any thoughts or position contralary to that of the government is a crime punishable by banishment or death. Please remember the hostile culture and potentially violent county we are building today, is the future home of our children. If we mess it up, they will judge us harshly and rightfully so.

It's time for Duale to prove whether he was loyal to Ruto or he was just sniffing on his ass for a possible fart! He doesn't sound bitter though like the rest of the troop that were kicked out!
