It is Not Over Till it is Over, Karua Says on Ruto’s Presidential Victory
Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition deputy presidential candidate Martha Karua has broken her silence following the announcement of the presidential election results.
Through Twitter on Monday evening, Karua hinted at challenging President-elect William Ruto’s victory at the Supreme Court.
“It is not over till it is over,” Karua wrote on her Twitter account.
Moments before IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati announced the final results of the presidential election, Azimio leaders led by their presidential candidate Raila Odinga's chief agent Saitabao Ole Kanchuri claimed that the systems used by the electoral commission to tally the results were compromised.
Citing intelligence reports, Kanchuri alleged that some IEBC officials actively colluded with the perpetrators of the alleged cyber-attack to compromise the presidential election.
A petition challenging the presidential election results should be filed within seven days from the declaration of the results by IEBC. The Supreme Court then has 14 days to hear and determine the petition.
Ruto garnered 7.18 million votes (50.49 percent) against 6.94 million (48.85 percent) for Odinga.

IEBC repeatedly claimed that their servers were hacker-proof,whatever that meant.The claim of cyber attack collusion has not been proved to have happened.So far nobody has claim massive rigging and irregularities marred the election process.To me this is to say that the elections were by all measurable standards fair and square.Therefore Martha Karua, unless you have concrete evidence to prove otherwise,its best to concede,and work with hustler to build abetter Kenya.And there is always the next time...

They were to be used to rig elections in favor of Uhuru/ Raila but Chief Chebukati was so vigilant. The party agent’s already agreed on the numbers from the constituency level all the way up. Who are they to purport to doubt these numbers. He who pays the piper calls the tune.

Kenyans must fight corruption of any form from all fronts. The Kenya kwisha team led by the most corrupt DP Ruto in the history of Kenya compromised the voting system to acquire political victory through the back door. There was no integrity and legitimacy in the just concluded elections. Kenyans must not allow a thief to be the next president of the Republic of Kenya. Failure to challenge the fake ruto win will set such a bad precedence in the Republic of Kenya. Our image to the world has become for ever tainted because of the outright theft of 2022 elections. Ruto has said many times that no one can beat him because he knows how to bend the rules of the game. Surely ruto has done exactly that very illegal thing.
