Kalonzo Woos Kikuyu Elders, Seeks Kamba Inclusion in GEMA Alliance

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has embarked on a strategic campaign to garner support from the Mount Kenya region.

Kalonzo showcases a concerted effort to unite the Kikuyu and Akamba communities. This move transcends mere political manoeuvring as Kalonzo aims to foster a society characterized by unity and peace, bridging historical divisions that have impeded progress. On Thursday, Kalonzo convened with the Kikuyu council of elders at their Ruaka offices where he stressed the importance of embracing inclusivity within the GEMA framework (Gikuyu, Embu, Meru, Akamba).

His primary objective was to bridge the historical gap between the Kikuyu and Kamba communities, emphasizing that there would be no distinction between these communities under his leadership. Addressing the Kikuyu elders, Kalonzo urged them to embrace his bid for unity, stressing the significance of standing together during these uncertain political times. He assured them of his dedication to their cause, promising continued communication and collaboration with community leaders throughout the region.

Echoing Kalonzo's sentiments, the National Chairman of the Kikuyu council Wachira Kiago commended his efforts in promoting unity and reconciliation. Kiago emphasised the importance of ongoing discussions in fostering growth and cooperation within the area. Kathiani MP Robert Mbui highlighted that this meeting should not be viewed solely through a political lens but rather as a means to foster unity and peace among all Mount Kenya communities.

Matungulu MP Stephen Mule affirmed the Kamba community's readiness to support unity efforts. Former Women Representative Rechel Shebesh praised Kalonzo for his continuous support for the community, emphasizing their preparedness to collaborate and assist him in his endeavours. However, despite Kalonzo's efforts, obstacles loom within his political faction in Azimio. Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has raised doubts about Kalonzo's suitability as a presidential candidate, advising him to focus on demonstrating his abilities to the electorate.

Gikuyu had 10 daughters but when they count them they say kenda muihuru. The 10th daughter Wamuyu is the one who formed the Kamba tribe.

GEMA is a spiritual and cultural outfit and should not be politicized. We are in spiritual times. Each person must first search and find him or herself spiritually and then culturally.
GEMA unity at this time is not seeking political gains, they are moving away from forced strange gods to their Mwene Nyaga to keep his laws and commandments and to adhere to cultural laws and to follow in the footsteps of their forefathers.
Kalonzo, understand the times first and see who in your community can lead his people in the path of your forefathers, the path of peace and righteousness or the path of the Most High not for any gains but to fulfill God's commandments and mandate.
If you lead your people in this path, their unity with GEMA, will be automatic because it will first be spiritual then it will manifest itself here naturally.
Kalonzo, we wish you all the best.

Kalonzo is ready for the presidency. He just wants to wear the name “president” but he is not capable managing the affairs of Kenya.

“Thank Kenneth MÛRÎITHI your name BETRAYS you”.Ata hakana haya.Kalonzo declined a journalist’s question for being a MûGîkûyû.The so-called AGîkûyû elders should just pocket thug Kalonzo’s thousands and promise him their own votes.

Soon there will be no tribes in Kenya, except in name only. In my family I am the last Kikuyu standing. None of my children speak the language, eat Kikuyu food, wear Kikuyu outfits or even hang out with anyone identifying as Kikuyu. My wife was the last Kikuyu comrade I knew, but she's no more, she became "Americanized" a few years after we arrived in the US and swears ( in that nasal tang) that she was never really Kikuyu to begin with. Somebody tell Mr Kalonzo to opt for a different approach.
