Kenyans took to social media on Tuesday to send happy birthday messages to President Uhuru as he turns 60.

Uhuru was born on October 26th, 1961 to Kenya’s first President Jomo Kenyatta and his wife Mama Ngina.

Deputy President William Ruto was among those who wished the president a happy birthday and prayed for God’s guidance as he leads the country.

“Please join me in wishing our leader, the President, His Excellency Uhuru Kenyatta, a Happy Birthday, and to pray for his success as he guides the nation towards a greater promise. God bless you, sir; to many, many more!” Ruto wrote on Twitter.

Leaders and Kenyans online used #UhuruAt60 to send messages of goodwill to Uhuru as he celebrates his last birthday as the president and commander-in-chief of the armed forces.

Tourism CS Najib Balala wrote, “Happy 60th Birthday Your Excellency. Your determination and vision inspire us to always give our best.”

Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu tweeted, “HE Uhuru Kenyatta, as you turn a year older, may God grant you the wisdom to continue leading this great country we call home into even greater prosperity.”

Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria said, “Happy Birthday and Congratulations as you turn 60 today Mr. President. Hitting the 6th Floor is no mean achievement more so your last Birthday as the President of the Republic of Kenya. Hongera Mheshimiwa Rais!”

State House wrote, “Happy and blessed 60th birthday Your Excellency. May God the Almighty continue uplifting you as you steer Kenya to greater heights of prosperity.”

60 years is too young to retire. Manipulate katiba kama Museveni ukae kwa kiti hadi 2047.

He’s only 60? No wonder why he’s been pushing BBI so he can run for another term. At 60 is when most people are aspiring to run for president.

Title of the story is wrong as not all Kenyans sent gangster Uhuru birthday messages.Only a mad person can shed good birthday message to a person stealing from him/her.You cannot even afford food or medicine then read somebody writing you wish the demon happy birthday.Uhuru belongs to KAMITI/KODIEGO or SHIMO LA TEWA prison(s).
