Raila is sleeping comfortably in his Karen home or one billion house in Kisumu. The fools are burning their ghettos and they will suffer alone.

Kenya, you are right.Hardly do you ever hear that there was ariot in some of our leafy neighborhoods. Only in downtrodden areas.
Certainly most feel that the government of the day has not done enough for them.Elevating the standard of living of every Kenya would go along way in reducing these kind of violence.
What our leaders say can go along way in calming hot spots by what they say.For example after calling for calm in the country, Raila goes ahead and says he does not control anybody-when asked about the reported violence. That response is very inadequate, even if he is still leaking his wounds,he would be respected more if he shows some integrity, and statesmanhood .

@Maxiley.I agree with you.One of the most important reasons for conceding defeat(esp in hotly contested races) is that it has a calming effect on the population. So one of the main lessons that we carry forward is really the value of having defeated candidates concede so that the population can calm down with ease. That said.It is in the best interest of everybody regardless of whether they are in NASA or JUBILEE to continue to keep the Peace.Let the ordinary mwananchi in the slums, in Kibera,Kisumu or anywhere else in the country not give in to chaotic foolishness. Rao is in his mansion right now sleeping. So let us keep the peace and calm for the sake of our own children and our own families. No Kenyan regardless of his/her tribe should lose his/her life because of an election.

This is not new from Odinga. in 2008 he was asked by Amanpour of CNN if he will ask the his followers to stop the violence he said he wont " because the rights of those people have been taken away from them" as if they were the presedential candidate as if he would give a damn if he became the president. now i see some people including Kikuyus in Runda who say there was a plan by the police to raid and reprocess the data they have stolen from IEBC website which indicates of Odinga win but if they are arrested or killed Raila will not shed a tear neither anyone else except their families. what we need now is peace burning our sheds or homes will not change anything. I am my own president i don't care who wins cause l will continue to struggle for my own bread and butter

Raila will wake up today and realize he is totally out of options .. totally isolated and all alone .. then he will concede and retire from politics ... Ruto's campaign starts today ...

Maxiley, people like Raila aim for those with little to lose and feel like the world has forgotten them. In the meantie,Raila et al bask in their riches. It,s sad but now i think Uhuru should turn the tables and reach out to these downtrodden communities. They really should learn from sonko. The man is hood but he relates to these communities irrespectve of tribe. I respect that. Odinga should be ignored from noe on as he thrives from negative attention.

Sukari, let people say what they may,but Sonko delivers. I know some people say that his past is questionable.Probably, but let us think of the future. Sonko delivers and that's why he won.
Let's give him a chance, and see what he can do about housing, crime, and congestion in Nairobi.
Should he transform this city into a magnificent heaven on earth,he would certainly have my vote as the next president.

Poor people burn and loot because they don't own property . Its easy to destroy other peoples stuff when you haven't figured how to create your own wealth.
