I'll Be Your President, Get Used to It Early Enough, Babu Owino Tells Kenyans

Embakasi East MP-elect Paul Ongili, well known as Babu Owino says that he will be running for Nairobi governor and presidency in the 2022 and 2027 general elections respectively.

Appearing on an interview with Citizen TV 10 over 10 entertainment program, Babu explained his ambition in politics for the next 10 years.

"I will go for Nairobi Governor and in 2027 I will be your president so zoea rais wako mapema (get used to your president early enough)," he said during an interview on Citizen TV on Friday night.

The former Students of Nairobi University Union (SONU) chair said that his track record when he was a student union leader, where he championed for the rights of the oppressed was the reason he was voted as the Embakasi East MP by residents.

"Because of my services to the students I was elected three consecutive times as their leader. In Embakasi East, I will fight the issue of water shortage."

"I used to fight for the oppressed and I will not stop."

Questioned about the meaning of the 'Tibim' slogan, which originated from him and widely used by the opposition National Super Alliance (NASA) in the just concluded election, he said: "There is a church version for it...after finishing prayers you say 'Tibim' and the devil comes out running. In the political life, it means a political revolution," he said.

"A smart person learns from their mistakes, a wise person learns from the mistakes of others." You have plenty of examples from the Odingas, what makes you such a fool? You arrogance, pride, lies all go before a fall. You don't own the next minute in your life... YOU CAN'T EVEN PREDICT THE WEATHER ON MONDAY!! What makes you think you'll even live to be governor? Just shut up and keep your plans to yourself... People are evil and hungry for power kijana! Don't be young dumb and full of cum. You just got elected wacha kunyongwa na nyama iliyo mbali nawe, tafuna iliyo kinywani! Shenzi!

Wishful thinking. Just because you have impressed a few young people at the UON does not mean that you can charm the rest of Kenya as governor or even president.Raila with all his money, international connections wise sayings and fanatical followers has tried 4 times and failed.
