NASA Faults International Community over Police Killings in Kenya

National Super Alliance (NASA) has once again blasted the international community for their silence over the killings of innocent Kenyans by police.

Speaking during a fundraiser for last week's police brutality victims, Nasa leaders led by Siaya Senator James Orengo lamented the silence from the international community, noting that this would not deter Nasa from pursuing justice for the victims.

“The international community is not talking about the killings going on in Kenya, but we will use human rights agencies in Kenya and the International Criminal Court (ICC) to get justice," Orengo said during the event held at Laico legency hotel in Nairobi on Friday night.

“Action must be taken against them,” Nasa principal Musalia Mudavadi said.

Nasa leader Raila faulted Jubilee for proceeding with President Uhuru's swearing-in ceremony when the country is mourning the killings.

“It is sad that the lives of young people have been cut short at between the ages 17 and 28. Those were very young precious lives needed for the development of the nation. What did they do, what crimes did they commit, did they have to die?” asked Raila.

Senator Orengo said the coalition has invited the International Human Rights Commission and the International Criminal Court to carry out investigations on police killings.

“This matter will not end here. These deaths are extrajudicial killings by the police against the people because of their political affiliation. The Jubilee leadership has not given a word of apology,” Orengo said as he took a swipe at foreign envoys in the country for turning a blind eye “as Kenyans cry for justice.”

“We will not tire until victory is won for the people and by the people of Kenya. Those who died have paid the ultimate price for the liberation of this country from poor leadership,” he added.

Those who died looting and burning innocent people's vehicles and businesses???Those who were killed robbing innocent citizens.Have the NASA leaders sent apologies to thousands who lost their livelihoods due to rape, looting and burning under the pretext of "peaceful protests and picketing"International communities are not fools and those ICC and human right bodies you are inviting are coming for you fools.

Raila uses dead bodies to climb up to power. 2007/08 post election violence, more than 1,500 died and Raila became prime minister a post that never existed in our constitution. Now you claim police killed these people- You have no proof- and if they were stoning police, looting or burning vehicles and buildings, the out come is true. You blame Jubilee yet can't tell us how dead NASA supporters add value to Jubilee or the country. These are the same kind of protesters that the Kisumu governor- Nyong'o told us the other day that they're; hooligans, criminals, gangs and looters that he banned in Kisumu. Rao, open your eyes wide this coming Tuesday and see Kenyans into millions come out to celebrate the swearing in of their president. Yours is a minority group but in a democracy, majority rules.

Babu Raila, you are so transparent, it's embarrassing! I said elsewhere that you wanted to bait Uhuru's government into arresting you, but when that didn't work, you resorted to using your followers in order attract the international community. No one is blind to your mischief. I applaud Uhuru for ignoring you this time, you are not worthy of his attention, let a lone his whiff! Wicked wicked man!

Innocent citizens who lost their properties during the period of the killing of the so called innocent people are unhappy with the police for doing a shordy job. They should have gone for the real criminals who are their leaders. And next time, we want to be assured all the rapists and looters have been wiped out. It doest matter how many will be killed. What matters is the safety of innocent kenyans.
