NASA Supporters Irate over Cancelled Raila's Inauguration

National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters have taken to the social media to express their anger over the alliance's decision to call of the swearing in of Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka, which had been scheduled for Tuesday, December 12th.

In a press briefing at Okoa Kenya offices on Sunday, NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi announced the inauguration had been cancelled to a later date.

“Following extensive internal consultations and engagement with a wide range of national and international interlocutors, the NASA leadership wishes to advise the NASA fraternity and the general public that the swearing in of Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka as President and Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya, and the launch of The People’s Assembly scheduled for Tuesday 12 December have been postponed to a later date,” read part of the statement.

“We are aware that this will be a disappointment to the people of Kenya who were eagerly waiting for this occasion. We wish to assure them that our resolve has not changed. Specifically, we wish to reiterate that any national dialogue must have electoral justice on the agenda. We are not interested in an illegitimate dictatorial power,” said Mudavadi.

He added: “We shall be announcing the new dates of both the swearing in ceremony and the launch of the People’s Assembly as well as a more vigorous and prolonged resistance in the coming days”.

However, the announcement sparked an outrage on social media, with a section of opposition supporters threatening to withdraw their support from its leaders. Here are some of the reactions we sampled.

Wafboy Jerome said: "Naanza kunywa Brookside na kutumia safaricom. You have made us a laughing stock amongst jubilee supporters. When will you keep your word?"

Wayne Wafula Msungu wrote:"We go out there every day risking our lives knowing we might not come back to our families alive but here they take our lives for granted. Our lives matters, i call upon all the Nasarites we assembly on Tuesday and match to Hon Raila residential on Tuesday. We sermon him out and force him to take the oath."

Francis Onyango notes: "Time to leave Raila alone and focus on 2022 with new blood of Mudavadi as our kingpin. I knew Raila was fooling us."

Achiando Achiando remarks: "I give up on NASA and Raila Odinga, this is a mockery on our conscience. I can't take communication from NASA anymore...
Back to Safaricom, BIDCO and Brookside.
Useless calls in deed."

Samuel Omollo said: "Wow!can't believe this, after putting us and the entire country under the anxiety, this is the best option you can come up with?
Please let us embrace the current government and we move on...."

Morris Odhiambo says:"Kwendendeni huko kabisa na hiyo sherehe yenyu. Kila saa nikuenjoy public eti grand announcement mara mega....ya nini sasa kama mnaogopa. Let's accept and move on hata kama tutaumia coz u hv really failed us to the ground.."

and I remarked: "Mdomo tu, causing us to be beaten to death, telling us to stop using services that you give us no alternatives to...and now this? NASA is dead like a doodoo! JUBILEE KUMI-NA-TANO TENA!!!"

Faithful followers of Railaism and the flock of the NASA cult are happy with the grand withdrawal. However some believe the swearing will happen, as the statement was a trick, to divert NIS reaction and pre emptive action. The everlasting pride evidence in abuse of the AG and wild imagination of his role, accounts for missteps and the looming grand failure. We shall miss the grand liars or is it lawyers and economic saboteurs or can NASA TV broadcast from maximum prison?

Mkono mtupu haulambwi. Stop taking your foolish followers for a ride. Those who believe in you might now begin to commit suicide.

Jubilee bloggers assuming names of a certain ethnic community .They are only fooling themselves. As usual Jubilee is spreading the myth that all is well in Kenya .NASA bloggers have better decorum and frankly can express themselves eloquently unlike members of a certain community.
