Seven Suspected Gangsters Gunned Down in Nakuru

Police have gunned down seven suspected gangsters during a foiled robbery at Kibunja trading center in Molo, Nakuru County.

The seven were waylaid as they drove around the shopping centre located along the busy Nakuru-Eldoret Highway in two cars; a Toyota Fielder and Toyota Prado, which they have been using to carry out criminal activities.

Molo OCPD Daniel Kamanza said three other suspects managed to escape with gunshot wounds. Kamanza said his officers conducted the ambush after a tip-off from members of the public.

“They were trailing a truck that was carrying sugar from Nairobi heading to Eldoret. Members of the public suspected the vehicles and alerted the police who moved in swiftly and gunned them down,” said Kamanza.

Police recovered several items including a pistols and several mobile phones.

Doreen why did the thugs want to commit crimes? Reads again.Guns and cellphones were recovered. That in itself may not be an offense. But look at it in totality. The public alerted the police...3 ran away.
Good public work.Iknow there is always fear that an action like this would victimize the innocent, but rest assured they got the right crooks.I hope non was your relative or friend, otherwise this is the way to reduce crime.

And you wonder why we are being referred to as SH****** countries. What happened to due process. The police knew where these alleged thieves were, why not arrest them and charge them in court. We as a country must treat our fellow countrymen with dignity. A mere suspicion does not equal to guilty. These police should be prosecuted for summarily murdering Kenyans they are supposed to be protecting

When the judiciary is so corrupt that when a criminal is taken to court they walk free. What can police do and they know the criminals who terrorize people in the villages or towns
