President Kenyatta's Sister Kristina Pratt Sues Businessman for Defaulting on Sh5 Million Loan

Kristina Pratt, the elder sister to President Uhuru Kenyatta has sued Richard Thande, the former captain of Karen Country Club, for defaulting on a Sh5 million loan.

In a suit filed at Milimani Commercial Courts in Nairobi, Pratt says that the businessman breached a repayment agreement reached on November 2011 that required him pay her Sh20,000 per month to settle the debt.

“The plaintiff (Mrs Pratt) avers that the defendant (Mr Thande) has since entering the agreements only paid a sum of Sh20,000,” says Ms Pratt in court documents.

“The plaintiff further avers that despite numerous requests and demands in June 2018 to the defendant to refund the remaining sum of Sh4,980,000, the defendant has declined to settle the same.”

Pratt, 67, also wants the court to issue orders compelling Mr Thande to shoulder the costs of the suit.

Uhuru Kenyatta's sisters have disabilities.

They are on disability.

This guy Thande lived in the US for several years before moving back to Kenya. I can state from first hand information that this guy defrauded numerous people in the US and in Kenya since his return. I would believe Ms Pratt. This is the kind of thing Richard would do.
