Sonko, known for leading a flashy lifestyle, donned the expensive shoes to a function held in the city on Sunday.

During the event, Sonko announced that Africa Regional Good Deeds Conference will be held in Nairobi in August this year.

"I wish to encourage organizations involved with volunteerism to come and share their successes, challenges and lessons learned, in order to promote volunteering in Kenya. I also urge the private sector to embrace Good Deeds because, as they say, 'Doing good is good business'," Sonko says.

Sonko was named the Goods Deeds Ambassador in Kenya in December 2018 by an Israeli non-governmental organization.

Gold shoe on a light note can one reveal which Business empire Mr. Sonko is dealing with. Bei ya socks nayo iyo kiatu itakanyaga bathroom/choo ama matope..Mungu asaidie wanawe..

Gold Shoe or gold painted shoe?. Give me a break. Kenyans need to be little bit smarter than this. Sonko takes Kenyans for granted. Why is he been allowed to run Nairobi County as his own personal business and nobody including the President says anything about it? It is not a secret Sonko is as much a thief as his predecessor Dr. Kidero but who in Kenya would dare mention his name?. Nairobi residents should be ashamed of themselves for electing a sloth like Sonko

He looks like a cartoon. I think he has problems. Self- esteem I guess, or lack thereof. As for the shoes it's vanity. Money for him is easy come, easy go.

His sense of fashion is gauche, awkward and cheap. Those shoes, oh gosh. Someone should dress this man. The other day he had colored his bald head jet black. When did this kinda madness start?

I can answer you that easily, the noveau' riche' Kenyans have no real class but crass instead. Their class sense is to buy most expensive house and car, then go to a vacation in Dubai, noisy Indonesia , Thailand and poor parts of France ( but they must have Eiffel tower photo, to show wenyeji walikuwa vacation) when our backyard is full of amazing spots they have never been to. In mombasa their idea of vacation is drinking all night and sleeping all day for a week. What else................

You can buy those shoes for $16.00. they are not even genuine leather. They are very comfortable though. It is a misinformation to equate the with gold because even though they look golden, there is no gold value in them. Inform Kenyans, not musinform.

Love him or hate him, as ostentatious as Sonko is, we can all agree that he works for the common mwananchi, more than some of these flashy big pot bellied, gas gazzler driving millionaire, and billionaires.
If it pleases him,and he can comfortably afford, well let him enjoy some of the finest things money can buy. After all what is money for if not to afford you what the heart desires.

It may be fake or real, bu either way, what business brings him that kind of money he shows us he has?
Otherwise I admire his determination to meet Wanjiku's needs versus the other thieves in the government just take away ours and our children's future by stealing from us left and right.

Sonko is a typical cartoon verse of leadership.

He makes the Uhuruto Administration fully entertained while underground corrupted

john wanjoi don't be a dumb fuck sensationalist writer. Gold being a transitional metal will make one uncomfortable shoes. Most accurate description would be gold colored drivers.
