Deputy President William Ruto Negotiates Dowry on Behalf of His Younger Brother

Deputy President William Ruto spared time to attend a dowry negotiation ceremony of his younger brother David Ruto, a businessman.

The ceremony, popularly known as ‘Koito’ in Kalenjin, was held in Ziwa, Uasin Gishu County on Friday. The ceremony involves the negotiation of dowry by elders drawn from both the groom and bride’s sides.

DP Ruto is reported to have led the team that was negotiating on behalf of his brother, who is seeking to marry his long-time fiancée Carol Kitur.

Leaders who accompanied Ruto to the ceremony included Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi, his Soy counterpart Caleb Kositany and Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Gladys Shollei just to mention a few.

During the event, the groom is usually kept away until the negotiation is complete.

For the tax payer to heard this sarcastic news out-break of dowry negotiation by Ruto is like circus rehearsal with a hyena. Since we know there are only struggles into the hyena's cave but never for outwards. Discuss.

This guy is a real a star of house of cards!

Who cares about their family business. Real Kenyans have better things to worry about other than this BS. The guy is the number one conman in the country.
