Journalist Dennis Onsarigo Appointed Press Secretary of Raila’s 2022 Campaign Secretariat

TV journalist Dennis Onsarigo has been appointed as the new Press Secretary of ODM leader Raila Odinga’s 2022 campaign secretariat.

Odinga in a statement on Sunday said Onsarigo is a professional bringing journalism and media consulting experience spanning 14 years to the table.

Onsarigo previously worked with Nation and Standard media groups as the investigations editor, reporter, and manager.

He holds a BA in Communication and Political Science, Diploma in Broadcast Journalism, and is currently pursuing a master of Arts in governance, peace, and security.

“He will coordinate all media relation needs of the Raila Odinga 2022 campaign secretariat, including media engagement and management, media liaison between the secretariat and coalition partners, and work closely with the mainstream media in the dissemination of news and information,” reads the statement.

Before his appointment, Onsarigo worked as the Director of Communications at the Taita Taveta County Government, where he was the link between the County/National governments and the Council of Governors.
