CAP Survey Projects a Raila Victory in Round One

A survey conducted by the Centre for African Progress (CAP) has projected a round one win by Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya coalition party presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

Odinga would garner 52 percent of the votes ahead of his main challenger Deputy President William Ruto of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance at 45 percent while Roots Party’s George Wajackoyah came in third with 2 percent, according to the poll released on Friday.

The study shows that Odinga, 77, enjoys more support in Nyanza, Western, Coast, Eastern, North Eastern, Nairobi and Central Rift while Ruto, 55, dominates South Rift and Mount Kenya regions.

“The number of those who are still undecided today stands at about one percent,” says the report.

Ruto’s UDA is the most popular political party in the country at 40 percent, followed by ODM at 37 percent, Jubilee party (12 percent), Wiper (3 percent) and Kanu (one percent). In terms of the popularity of coalitions, Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya is the most popular at 50 percent ahead of Kenya Kwanza Alliance at 47 percent.

A total of 8,355 registered voters participated in the survey conducted across all 47 counties between July 15th and July 17th. It had a margin of error of about 1.5 percent.

Founded in 2013, CAP describes itself as a think-tank of African intellectuals that tackle economic and political issues across Africa.

This is basically 0.14 percent of the electorate. This polls are always manipulated sending the wrong message.
So, who conducts what?
Who owns what MEDIA houses in KENYA?
Who is sleeping with who?
Who will reap the juiciest of the crop?
The minute we receive cash offers from HYENAS, means, they are investing what they will reap within 5 years in POWER.

No wonder Ruto is going crazy because he has list a mn election he had assumed he was going to win. He is now cursing at every body from Uhuru, Raila to an campaign event young boy. Its the bitterness of losing which is talking in ruto.

Raila is the guy with sober mind to lead kenya in industrustrial revolution. his mind set of industries from germany will be a big plus given his background in engineering from germany.

Raila has no interest to steal from kenyans but to propel our country to higher level and his fight for kenya all this years is there for everyone to see and judge.

Let the best candidate win in 7 days. The only REAl poll is the one on August 9th. There will be disappointments galore on either side depending on the winner. Life continues.
