24-Year-Old Woman Sues Nairobi Tycoon Jimnah Mbaru for Child Support
A woman has sued Nairobi tycoon Jimnah Mbaru for child support, claiming the businessman has neglected his parental responsibility of providing for their three-year-old child.
The 24-year-old woman is seeking a Sh320,000 monthly maintenance fee to cater for food and shopping, rent, security, clothing and housekeeping, entertainment, medical coverage, education, transportation, and utilities, and an annual school fee of Sh600,000, according to an affidavit filed before Nairobi Children's Court by her attorney Suyianka Lempaa.
Court documents show that the woman was in a relationship with Mbaru in 2017 until her son was born in 2018 when the businessman allegedly gave power of attorney to another man, who would be a putative father, to take the responsibility of a father to the minor.
The putative father was allegedly required to pay Sh50,000 per month, which has not been remitted for the maintenance of the minor, court papers say.
The woman claims that Mbaru, a former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant, has declined to have his name included in the birth certificate as the biological father to the minor, denying identity.
“That on 1st September 2020 the 1st respondent instructed and gave power of attorney to one Eric Murimi Kaburu to be a putative father to the minor terms of which are not known in any law including the constitution of Kenya,” reads court papers.
She argues that Mbaru is a man of means who is capable of supporting the child without any difficulties, adding that the minor is bound to suffer irreparably if her demands are not granted.
Additionally, the woman wants DNA conducted and Murimi restrained from holding himself as a putative father to the minor, arguing that it will affect the mental, physical, and emotional well-being of the child.

1. Work with the Father
2. If the Father refuses, do DNA
3. Then ask for Child support
4. If he Refuses to Pay you Child support, take him to Cour.
5. If your Lose COURT case, GIVE it to the (Wealth and Safe father)
5. But if it SURELY ain't Safe for the Child to Be with the Father: PERSIST for Child support
6. If he is Poor, then You're SCREWED.
7. And therefore Either:
a) Sacrifice to Raise the Child on your Own
b) or Give it to your Parents or His parents
c) or His relatives
d) and Maybe for Adoption (as Last resort).
