Four Police Officers Arrested Over the Disappearance of a Kenyan and Two Indian Nationals

Four police officers have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of two Indian nationals and a Kenyan in July.

Mohamed Zaid, Ahmad Khan, and a Kenyan man identified as Nicodemus Mwania were reportedly abducted near Ole Sereni Hotel on Mombasa Road on July 24th and driven away in vehicle without a number plate.

It is said the two Indian nationals were in the country to work in President Ruto’s IT team ahead of the August 9th general election. Mwania was the driver of a vehicle hired by the Indians.

It is suspected that officers attached the recently disbanded Special Service Unit of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) were responsible for the kidnapping of the three missing persons.

The Standard reported that four officers of the dissolved SSU who are suspected to have been involved in the abduction of the three are being held separately at Kilimani, Kileleshwa and Capitol Hill police stations. They include a Chief Inspector of Police and three police constables.

Their attorney, Danstan Omari, told the publication that police intend to charge the four officers with kidnapping, abuse of office and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Ruto is allegedly the one behind the disappearance of many of the ICC witnesses that were to give evidence against him. The last two died mysteriously a couple months ago. Who has gone after him? Or is it the lives of Kenyans don’t matter as much as those Indians who were working in his campaign? If we are to go after the killers, let’s stray from the top. Rig G is not innocent either… stop harassing the small fry…

The four officers were acting on instructions from their top most boss or bosses. It will be unfortunate if they are hold up with the idea that they did a clean job and that there won’t be any evidence to tie them to the killings. The truth is slowly coming out and it won’t be too long before other top suspects are caught.

Ruto mission is to revenge rather than fighting for justice. If it's true the officers committed this crime and were under DCI Kinoti why is he free and given another job?

The arrested officers were just Enforcing what was directed. They need to tell Kenyans who gave the orders.
But having watched and read about the mafia, they won't talk. The top brass goes home happy.
