President Ruto Announces 250,000 Job Opportunities for Kenyans in Germany

The 5, May State visit of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has elevated Kenya-Germany ties a notch higher with the provision of 250,000 job opportunities.

President Ruto today hosted a bilateral meeting and a joint press conference with Scholz, calling on Germany to lessen immigration barriers that deny Kenyans access to greener pastures in the country.

Chancellor Scholz promised that Germany's labour force is ready to accommodate 250,000 workers from Kenya into professional, skilled and semi-skilled roles.

The two leaders highlighted the need for countries to work in harmony to ease the effects of climate change.

Ruto's call for climate financing and investment comes ahead of the  African Climate Action Summit scheduled for September 4 in Nairobi.

I just hope that the 70 existing micro nations of Kenya will be recognized and equally represented in these great, and wonderful job opportunities in Germany.
Since UDA got into power, the only two communities that have benefitted tremendously are those from Samoei and Rigathi ancestral micro nations.

NB: The word "micro nation" was coined by the late Dr. Wangari Maathai, who preferred the use of this word rather than continue using the old colonial, hackneyed, and stigmatized word, "tribe."

What great and wonderful opportunities.🤔Wake up and smell the coffee these countries are looking for laborers to do menial tasks stop window dressing. How many of these workers speak German that is the first barrier.Wacha “wangangane” na hiyo kwanza these proud Europeans insist on speaking their language even when they can speak English.Ruto is just after the diaspora money and will export 3/4 of the population if not more now that job creation at home is turning out to be a myth
