Popular Nairobi Lawyer Ahmedinasir Abdullahi has named two police inspectors sent to kill him in a new statement at Kilimani Police Station in Nairobi. The lawyer in his new statement claimed that the Director of Criminal Investigations, Ndegwa Muhoro had owned to a plot to kill him.
In company of his lawyer Dennis Ben Mosota, Ahmednasir claimed that Muhoro had revealed to his close confidants that Ahamednasir he had hired Russian hit men to kill him. "He (Muhoro) has told many individuals that where as the scheme to kill me was true and real, it was the Russian Mafia and not him who intended to kill me. He further informed my sources that I have allegedly swindled huge sums from the Russian mafia and this scheme to kill me," the statement adds.
Muhoro on Tuesday declined to make comments on the new allegations claiming that the matter was under investigation.
"We have provided all necessary information within our knowledge. Its nu incumbent upon the investigators to discharge their responsibility fairly and objectively," Mosota told the Standard.
The lawyer asked the Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet to ensure that the matter was probed by an independent organ other than the DCI.
A few weeks ago, the controversial lawyer accused Muhoro of planning to kill him, a claim that Muhoro termed as wild.
