As long as our "elected servants of the people" are using helicopters to get to places, they really don't care how many people are crippled or die on our roads.

Would you please tell me (our elected servants) why 54 years after independence the road from Mombasa to Malaba is not yet a "dual carriageway"? This road is a priority since it serves not only up country Kenya, but Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, and Congo.

Our towns are rotting with filth, our schools are producing "functional illiterates, corruption has been normalized as police officers openly accept bribery on a daily basis and nothing is happens to them! Are these some ofthe benefits of achieving independence?

We sure can do better. Today a Russian, a Japanese and an American astronaut left to the space center 250 miles above earth to join other astronauts who have been there since September 2017 and we still have Chinese building our infrastructures! Something is seriously wrong in our government!
