President Uhuru Appoints Citizen TV's News Anchor Kanze Dena as State House Deputy Spokesperson

Citizen TV's Kiswahili news anchor Kanze Dena has been appointed as the Deputy State House Spokesperson by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita in a statement on Tuesday said Kanze will be in charge of core communications teams, including digital, messaging, research, branding and press.

The journalist will also work on President Uhuru's brand positioning, press relations and messaging with respect to the delivery of his Big Four agenda.

At the same time, the President named Ms Munira Mohamed as the new Deputy Head, Presidential Service Communication Unit (PSCU) and Head of the Presidential Library.

“In this new role Ms. Mohamed will work closely with the families of Kenya’s first three Presidents, as well as the State Department of Heritage, to decide on important speeches, papers, books, artworks, artifacts and other materials to preserve and exhibit,” the statement reads.

The two are expected to bring diversity and infuse new energy in to the Presidential Communication team. The overall leadership for the Presidential Communications remains with State House Spokesman, Manoah Esipisu.

Some would call you a sexist, but ithink you like beautiful women as opposed to the beautifully challenged.Nothing wrong with that so long as you respect them.
