Police in Nairobi Hunt for 'Spiderman' Terrorizing Kilimani Residents [VIDEO]

Police in Nairobi have launched hunt for a lone burglar nicknamed 'spiderman' who has been breaking into houses in Kilimani estate.

Videos captured by CCTV cameras reveal that the lone burglar only carries a backpack and has skills that enable him to scale from one floor to another.

On February 10th, the middle-aged, well-built man was captured on CCTV at 12:52 am jumping over the fence of different residential apartments in Kilimani.

In the video, the daring man is seen looking around before pulling a typical ‘spiderman’ stunt and climbs through a stair rail to the first floor.

On this fateful day, the criminal is said to have stolen millions of shillings after breaking into a safe in one of the apartments.

The owner of the house is reported to have suffered shock and was rushed to hospital after learning that his cash had been stolen.

On February 14th, a foreign citizen reported that his safe was also broken into and his firearm stolen.

One of the victims says she found her door wide open when she woke up in the morning and her laptop and other valuable items were missing.

“I live on the second floor, and one morning I woke up and my jewelry and my laptop were missing, my house had been broken into,” she narrates to Citizen TV.

“I got hurt… because anything can happen, material things can be recovered, but it really scares me that someone was in my house and I’m all alone.”

Kilimani OCPD Michael Muchiri had urged residents to remain calm as police pursue the man whose identity is yet to be established.
