5 Suspected Fraudsters Arrested with over 40,000 SIM Cards, Phones

Detectives from Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Sunday evening arrested five suspected fraudsters in Kiambu County.

DCI indicated the five were found with more than 40,000 SIM cards, several mobile phones, three laptops as well as a list of names and national ID numbers of different individuals.

Suspects Joseph Kuria, Joyce Kagure, George Maina and Evans Getabu were arrested inside a house at Jeremy Apartments in Juja town while Loise Wanjiku was apprehended at Gwa Kairu area.

The five suspects will be arraigned in court once police conclude investigations.
