The National Integrity Alliance (NIA) has published the Red Card 2022 list ahead of the August 9th elections.

The list comprising 25 political aspirants was released on Sunday as part of this year’s NIA Red Card Campaign whose aim is to have individuals with tainted integrity barred from contesting for public office in the forthcoming elections.

UDA presidential candidate William Ruto’s running mate Rigathi Gachagua, Kiringaga Governor Ann Waiguru, Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa, former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, former Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero, and Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi are some of the notable politicians who have been red-carded.

NIA has urged the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) not clear those named in the list as they are in breach of the leadership and integrity tenets as enshrined in Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.

The alliance noted that the 26 aspirants have been named adversely by statutory agencies or prosecuted for corruption, economic crimes, abuse of office, or other criminal offenses.

“The cost of electing such leaders is borne by citizens through broken promises to provide effective public services, like witnessed recently when we experienced a surge in the cost of living due to rising food and fuel prices in the country. Worse, the country is losing a third of its budget annually to corruption and caving under a high level of public debt,” the alliance said.

NIA is a citizen-centered integrity and anti-corruption coalition comprising Transparency International Kenya (TI-Kenya), Inuka Kenya Ni Sisi, Mzalendo Trust, The Institute for Social Accountability (TISA), and The Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC).

The alliance said the Red Card 2022 list was generated from authentic and trusted investigative reports.

Below is the complete list of the leaders NIA has red-carded:

1.    Aisha Jumwa – Malindi gubernatorial aspirant

2.    Ali Korane – Garissa gubernatorial aspirant

3.    Anne Waiguru – Kirinyaga gubernatorial aspirant

Ask your damn self @halisi, do you ever see the thieves in the UDAku team led by one big thief WSR? When they freaking steal, they only see on side of things, that is hosing poor Kenyans of taxes and development projects. No wonder you got deported from the good USA because they couldn’t stomach your shitty nonsense. Wezi ni wezi fool.

Because people just shout him up as Mwizi mwizi. If we do the same to you, you will not appear on the list too.

So we’re there shouting Mwizi Mwizi when Ruto stole 💯 of Mzee Muteshi farm? How about Weston land? And the land by State House? You should have shouted Mwizi Mwizi louder than you did then. Unless you are a thief too!

Je, Ndugu Okoth Obado huenda kanisani? Kama anakwenda, bila shaka kanisa limekuwa sasa, genge la majambazi, wezi, wauaji, na pia wapora mali ya umma.

Thieves have no business contesting for politics office. It’s about time measures are instituted to bar these crooks from running for office.

Just look at who WSR picked to deputize him. Rigathi can’t even pass the integrity test and now he wants to be the second in command. Everyone named in the list of shame must step aside. Let’s get clean leaders to represent the wishes of Kenyans.

@nyamu, 25 named thieves is not bad. I am only disappointed they left Ruto out when we all know he stole Muteshi farm.

Time has come to clean the house of corruption deals. Kenyans can’t continue to live under the shadow of corruption, graft, theft and all manner of ills orchestrated by those in positions of power. They should have been red listed long time ago. Let all of them step down.

Kenya is lagging behind in red listing crooked thieves running for politics office. All those named would have been forced to step down if they were in America. Ordinary folks can force them to step down by holding demonstrations right in-front of their homes. It’s about time to remove all those with corruption appetite from office; and even bar those who wish to contest for a public office.

Wacha utoto nigger. Your Ruto is the one who killed 37 kikuyu women and children by burning them to death inside the house of God. Ruto is a totally cursed guy here on earth and in Heaven. Hitler may get a pass to Heaven but Ruto is going straight to hell for killing kids.
