Death Announcement: Michael Mugo Mwaura - Brother to Karanja Mwaura and Jane Mwaura of Baltimore, MD

It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Michael M. Mwaura, brother to Thomas Karanja Mwaura and Njeri Mwaura of Baltimore, and Ruguru Mwaura of Atlanta, on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Michael was the son of the late Mwaura Karanja, and Esther Wairimu Mwaura. Brother to Karanja Mwaura, the late Ng’endo Mwaura, Ruguru Mwaura, Waweru Mwaura, Wambui Mwaura, Njeri Mwaura, Wanjiku Mwaura.  Brother-in-law to Njau Waira, Michael Kagombe, Julie Weche and the late Esther Njambi. Uncle to Mwaura, Annette, Njeri, Muti of Baltimore, Waira, Wathaiya of Atlanta, Jimmy, and Karanja of Nairobi and Mwaura of Dubai. Great uncle (grandfather) to Njambi and Karanja.

Family and friends will meet on Thursday, August 22 from 6pm at the home of Njeri Mwaura (4018 Cutty Sark Rd Middle River, Md 21220)

A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 23 from 6pm at Elimu Community Center, 9600 Pulaski Park Dr., Suite 115, Middle River, MD 21220.

Karanja Mwaura and Ruguru will travel to Nairobi for the burial at a date to be determined.
