Looters Caught on VIDEO as NASA Supporters Demonstrate against the IEBC

Several people were on Wednesday caught on video looting from businesses in Nairobi Central Business District as National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters held anti-IEBC demonstrations.

A crowd of protestors was seen stealing soft drinks outside Antonio’s Grill located near Holy Family Basilica, before anti-riot police fired teargas canisters to scatter them.

The protestors are also said to have stoned vehicles along Kenyatta Avenue. This happened as most businesses and offices in the City Centre remained and office workers could be seen catching a glimpse of the drama from windows.

Pedestrians were also forced to run for safety as the goons harassed and robbed them of their personal items.

In a statement, National Police Service spokesman George Kinoti urged anyone who is a victim of the assault, robbery or suffered losses of any nature during the demos to report to the nearest police station.
