The Kenya High Commission in London, United Kingdom was forced to close early on Thursday after National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters held demonstrations outside its premises.
This was the second time the opposition backers staged a demo in the United Kingdom's capital, after holding a "no reforms, no election" protests when Kenyan opposition leader delivered a speech at Chatham House in London two weeks ago.
"We just saw the national flag being lowered and the entrance door shut when we started to assemble outside," said Geroge Osore, the chairman and leader of the demonstration.
The opposition supporters said they were protesting against a sham repeat presidential election boycotted by their leader, who pulled out of the race two weeks ago.
"We are protesting against the sham election going on in Kenya. We are saying we are not party to it. We have seen innocent Kenyans killed. This is the start of resistance and civil disobedience." Osore added.
The about 70 protesters carried placards with messages: "Uhuru must go", "We need justice" and "Stop police killings".
The demo was licensed to be held between 2pm and 4pm and was concluded with reading of a statement that accused the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) of declining to adhere to Constitution in conducting the fresh election.
In their statement, the protesters further called on the British government to help initiate a dialogue among political antagonists in Kenya.

Yes, Luo lives matter, but…
Yes, Luo lives matter, but if Lous are acting against the law, then Luo lives become like any other lives. A Kikuyu robs, and he gets punished sometimes by death; a Luo destroys property, the Luo gets punished and sometimes by death. So, stop playing victim.
