NASA MPs Given Ultimatum to Sign Affidavit to Support Raila's Inauguration

Fifty-four National Super Alliance (Nasa) MPs who are yet to sign an affidavit to declare support for the planned swearing-in of opposition leader Raila Odinga as the people's president have up to Monday to do so.

MPs who will not have appended their signatures on the document after the elapse of Monday's deadline will have their names published in the list of shame, Nasa has threatened.

So far, only 100 MPs have signed the affidavit out of 154 lawmakers in both Senate and National Assembly who were elected under the coalition's ticket.

Kakamega Senator Cleopa Malala, who is overseeing the drive, said the alliance will make public list of MPs who refuse to support the course.

“By Monday, I will publish the list of shame and the list of honour. Those who have signed and those who have not signed,” Malala said.

“So far, we have hit the 100 mark. We are waiting for this weekend to see how many more will append their signatures.”

In the affidavit, NASA MPs are required to recognise Raila as the “People’s President of the Republic of Kenya, having been duly elected by the people of Kenya on August 8th 2017."

The affidavit further reads: “Had the IEBC complied with the Supreme Court orders and provided access to the servers, those results would have shown that the winner of the presidential election held on August 8, 2017 was Raila Odinga."

The govt will use that affidavit to round them up and to hang them in Kamiti. They better note their number in that affidavit because it will be the same number that will be used to take them to the gallows

The August elections were annulled which means cancelled. If an exam in cancelled, you don't go back and claim an "A" arguing that you could have passed with an "A". Dumb NASA fools, stop upuzi.

Since all NASA MPs and Senators swore to protect and defend the constitution, those who are foolish enough to sign this blackmail affidavit must immediately be declared as having forfeited their positions. No one can serve two masters at the same time.... They either uphold the constitution and work through duly elected government to uplift the people who elected them; or their seats be declared vacant if they insist on supporting an illegal and treasonous presidency of a crazy fake Joshua whether in the country or in exile as this sore loser has claimed. The Speakers of both National Assembly and Senate must immediately take action without fear or hesitation to stop this childish nonsense. If MPs and Senators can flout constitution and laws at will, then what kind of a lawless Republic has Kenya become???? No wonder UoN Luo students went on the streets to demonstrate the arrest of their fellow thug who can't afford to pay parking fee despite his exorbitant salary!!! Geez! These Luos and their fake Joshua to a Canaan of poverty and misery must grow up and open their blind eyes to see how irresponsible and backward they have become.
