PS Karanja Kibicho Blames DP William Ruto's Handlers for Thursday Security Hitch

Interior Principal Secretary Karanja Kibicho has explained why Deputy President William Ruto was not accorded proper security during a recent function in Nyeri.
On Thursday, Ruto attended a Church function in Nyeri County but county commissioner and area security chiefs were missing.
Area security chiefs are normally required to organize all security logistics before and during functions attended by the President or Deputy President.
Speaking during an interview with the Daily Nation, PS Kibicho has denied claims that the move was a deliberate attempt to undermine the DP.
Kibicho has blamed the Deputy President's office for the hitch, saying it failed to provide the Ministry with Ruto's itinerary so security arrangements could be made in advance.
“There is no way anyone can downgrade the security of the Deputy President. It is not possible,” Kibicho clarifies.
He further says that police rushed to the function upon learning that Ruto was around, only to find the event had ended.
“Officers had been deployed to cover the Huduma Namba registration and when they learned of his (Deputy President’s) arrival, they rushed to the scene but arrived when he had already left. It was a brief function,” Kibicho notes.

Ningependa kujua, Je, mkristo Ruto alikuwa amekwenda kufanya nini kanisani?
Yafaa makanisa yote yachukue msimamo kama ule wa kanisa la kikatoliki na kupiga marufuku wanasiasa wote kwenda makanisani na pia misikitini.
