Gachagua Defends President Ruto's Foreign Trips

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has defended President William Ruto's foreign trips, which have reportedly cost taxpayers more than his predecessor in the same period.

Gachagua reasoned that the reports overlooked the rewards the country has gained from the trips. He expressed his opinion while attending the signing of the European Union - Kenya Partnership Agreement at State House, Nairobi on Monday. The DP insisted that in order to make informed and unbiased conclusions, the media should examine the benefits the country has attained and compare that to the amount President Ruto has spent

"Yesterday I found a headline saying for the time you have been in the office you have spent three times what your predecessor spent on local and international travel but these people were not honest enough and objective to outline the level of activities you have carried out in that time because the cost is determined by the level of activity. I invite the media to find out when the president has travelled and to which country, what is the gain for the country? It is only then you can make an objective analysis," Gachagua said.

The DP claimed that when Ruto ascended to power, the nation was economically dented and that Ruto is doing his best to rectify the situation. He also acclaimed Ruto's hands-on approach to leadership, asserting that Institutions bloom because the accounting officers employ an active approach to leadership which is precisely what President Ruto is doing with the nation.

Rigathi:

Ndugu Rigathi: Please be courageous enough and emulate the example of Gathoni Wa Muchomba. You must have the courage to defer with Ndugu Samoei when he is wrong.

This constant talk of "we found the coffers empty" is begin to sound like a bad case of chronic diarrhea. Can't Ruto and Geoffrey Gachagua at least upgrade their lies?

Gachagua should stop lying.Trips abroad by Ruto, ministers, governors,MPs,senators etc are only to rake the millions in allowances and most unnecessary.Only technical, field workers, security personnel should go for physical training.Agriculture officers should be visiting places like Israel or Texas to learn how they grow food and grace cattle in their desert countries.

Still did not explain where the ksh 200 million paid to him (haa aaa bing sworn in front of a magistrate that he didn’t know the origin of the cash!), came from! Seeing that the cofers were empty!!
So he’s telling us that there’s only enough money to do 4 things!
1. Pay for Ruto’s expensive travels!
2. Pay for Ruto’s and Gachagua’s State house and VP palace entertainment (Ksh 1.5 billion in 9months!)
3. Pay Gachagua his Ksh 200 million, that he himself claimed he didn’t know the origin of!!
4. Pay MPigs so they can vote for, and pass stupid bills that only benefit Ruto and his corruption cartels!!
