Your Leadership Can Be Felt, Former US Secretary of State John Kerry Lauds Ruto

Former US Secretary of State John Kerry has lauded President William Ruto for his commendable leadership skills.

During the Climate Change Summit on Tuesday, August 5, Kerry acknowledged how palpable and influential Ruto's leadership was in the room. He further touted Ruto's perspective on the importance of voicing opinions on climate change and taking steps towards environmental transition. Kerry emphasised the importance of the nations emitting pollutants to take action in addressing climate change. The former US Secretary of State also had an engagement with Azimio Leader Raila Odinga. Kerry was one of the many leaders who attended the Africa Climate Summit at KICC.

"I want you to know that as I listened and as you listened, I could feel this room, something is happening, this is different. I feel that this is different. Mr President (President William Ruto) I will just say to you, your leadership is palpable, you can feel it," he said.

Taking place from September 4-6, 2023, the Summit will bring together leaders from across the continent. In attendance today were President Evariste Ndayishimiye (Burundi), Nana Akufo Addo (Ghana), Azali Assoumani (Comoros), Brahim Ghali (Sahrawi Democratic Republic), Julius Maada Bio (Sierra Leone), Sahle-Work Zewde (Ethiopia), Isaias Afwerki (Eritrea), Salva Kiir Mayardit (South Sudan), Mohamed Younis Menfi (Libya), Samia Suluhu (Tanzania), and Macky Sall (Senegal).

The summit will focus on finding new financing and tailored solutions to climate change for Africa and the world. The summit will also coincide with Climate Summit week.

Ruto thinks he is riding high and mighty because of his cozy relationship with the Americans. He needs to remember Saddam Hussein, the Shah of Iran, Daniel Ortega, Fidel Castro, and Osama Bin Ladin just to name a few were all once darlings of the United States.

They don't have much to get from Kenya coz there's no oil unlike Gabon, Niger with oil and uranium. Stability though is useful to em esp when neighbors are not guaranteed to be stable except TZ.
Ruto is getting stronger and stronger. Give him ten years and see transformation.
