Oscar Sudi Speaks Out Against Irresponsible Drinking Among Diaspora Youth

Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has issued a heartfelt plea to Kenyan youth residing abroad, urging them to steer clear of irresponsible drinking and drug abuse, which he claims are contributing to a significant number of deaths within the diaspora community.

In a candid address on Wednesday, Sudi revealed that substance misuse and reckless drinking stand out as the primary culprits behind the untimely demise of many young Kenyans overseas. He expressed concern about Kenyan students who, in their pursuit of enjoyment, partake in parties and other activities while residing abroad. Sudi noted that even children from well-off families have succumbed to these vices, but their families often choose to downplay the role of substance abuse, characterizing the deceased as exemplary individuals.

"We've lost many children from accidents to suicide. Let us all speak the truth as parents if your child has been indulging in drug abuse. Say your child died while using drugs," he said.

According to Sudi, the deaths of many young people in the diaspora are attributed to drug misuse and careless drinking, leading to fatal accidents and mysterious circumstances.

"Stop partying and forgetting where you've come from. The current trend is not good at all. I want to urge those of you in the US or Australia, and all the other countries, to stop hurting your parents and community at home," Sudi emphasized.

The remarks from the MP follow the recent tragic incident in Australia where two Kenyan students lost their lives in a car crash that resulted in a fire. The families of the deceased students have expressed shock and sorrow, seeking assistance to repatriate their bodies back to Kenya. Another case involved the drowning of a 23-year-old Kenyan student at a popular Australian swimming location.

Sudi's sentiments align with those of Alfred Koech, a Kenyan based in Australia, who has been outspoken about young people engaging in irresponsible drinking and unlawful activities, cautioning about the potential consequences on their immigration status. Many on social media have echoed Sudi's concerns, acknowledging that drug usage and reckless drinking pose a serious threat not only to Kenyan youth abroad but also domestically. Some emphasize the need for parents to be aware of their children's weaknesses before sending them overseas for studies.

The data shows the problem is much worse among Kenyan youth. And this political hypocrite, should first take care of this issue out of their backyards and then they shall be good models with their advice to clearly cast out the problem among diaspora youth.

Oscar Sudi - first of all worry about the youth you bestie Ruto cheated with the hustler narrative and then he has been offering them Changaa to fry their weak mind. How can a drunkard like Sudi advise others not to drink the same liquor he drinks gallons every night?

Sudi should first explain why “doctors” Mwau,Kabogo,Wambui,Mbuvi,Murungaru,Joho,Nyaga etc are licensed drug dealers in Kenya. He should also explain why wauaji Raila and Joho have been selling methanol with impunity to mountainian youths since the days of expired muuaji Torroitich.

And Uhuru has just been continuing to fool people and ignorant youth that his choice of presidency was the best. Bure kabisa. He failed miserably to handle drug and alcohol abuse about our future generation! He is just building his late father's empire with the same funds that should have brought this illegal enterprise...drugs and alcohol in form of methanol!!

This I do concur and support! Why is Sudi so worried about drunkard folks in the diaspora? Just because his daughter could not find anyone who wanted her in the diaspira should not become a blanket labeling of young men in the diaspora. She can go marry a Nigerian and be kin to Ruto.

He should first speak on how he swindled NHIF billions of Kenya Shillings, Just a few years ago he used to be part of the Kalenjin Drinkers and Disillusioned Community.

Theft of public resources and draconian taxation in the Ruto illegitimate administration will kill more living and the still unborn Kenyans more than the combined bad effects of alcohol and drugs abuse in the diaspora. Oh, I forgot Sudi has marginal levels of education and cannot critically think.

Billionaire Sudi. Congrats on wealth despite makanga street wise credibility. Drinking is out of control everywhere among younger folks. In ancient times drinking was for married and old men only at a ceremony. No bars existed

Why is this man still in our parliament after lying to the nation that he attended a business college after High School and later was found out to have not completed the 7th grade?
