Abandon Sycophants If You Want to Become President, Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter Urged DP William Ruto
Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has urged Deputy President William Ruto to ditch sycophants if he wants to succeed President Kenyatta.
Speaking in Eldoret, the firebrand MP said the Deputy President is surrounded by politicians with selfish interests and must shun them if he wants to become President.
The Jubilee MP further claimed that most of the DP’s closest allies are behind some of the multi-billion shilling corruption scandals in the country.
“I want to tell the Deputy President the truth; those purporting to be supporting him are just with him for their stomachs."
“They are the ones perpetrating corruption in this country from maize to sugar scandals. If he wants to succeed Uhuru, he should abandon them,” the MP added.
Keter also called on Ruto to begin forming strong alliances with other Kenyan leaders with an aim of seizing power.
“I heard that the Deputy President is saying he will look for votes on his own. History is clear, no one in Kenya has become president on his own.
“Uhuru Kenyatta is President because of him (Ruto). Jomo Kenyatta was in prison and he became President because of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga,” he added.
