'Sponsors' Offering Young Girls as Human Sacrifice, Kiambu Woman Rep. Gathoni Wa Muchomba Says

Kiambu Woman Representative Gathoni Wa Muchoba has warned young Kenyan women against dating old men, popularly referred to as 'sponsors'.

This comes in the wake of increased cases of young Kenyan women being murdered as a result of romantic relationships with older men turning soar. 

Wa Muchoba now claims that the increased killing of young women could be as a result of sponsors offering them as human sacrifice.

Wa Muchoba, who spoke when she attended a function at Wangige Primary School, urged girls not to be lured with money and flashy lifestyles by sponsors.

The politician said those in such relationships should prepare two things in advance – a casket for themselves and handkerchiefs for their family members to wipe their tears when they are killed.

She called on girls to focus on education and building themselves by working hard, instead of taking shortcuts by dating sponsors.

She said: “Let me warn women to be wary of those they associate with in the name of love because they might end up being offered as sacrifices by devil worshippers who do it to get riches."

" 1 Timothy 6:10 says that, For the love of money is the root of all evils, which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows,” added Wa Muchoba.
