The National Super Alliance (NASA) has once again rekindled their threats of boycotting the August 8 elections, if their demands are not met. Siaya senator James Orengo said that the opposition outfit will not take part in the August 8 elections if the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) does not cancel the ballot printing tender it awarded to a Dubai based firm.
"We will not accept Al Ghurair Company's bid to print the ballot papers. We will deal with the issue firmly before the August 8 general election." Orengo Warned.
The senator vowed that they will not rest until they ensure that Kenya will this time round has credible, free, fair and verifiable elections. "We will fight these acts of connivance until everything is done according to the law as defined by the Constitution," Orengo said.
Ugunja Member of Parliament Opiyo Wandayi echoed Orengo's remarks and called on the International Community to intervene and ensure that no rigging will take place. "Our supporters will not accept to participate in an election that has already been rigged. There is already a crisis," Wandayi said. "We cannot go to an election where our opponent is part and parcel of the process of printing ballot papers," he added.
"There is no way that the government will force a pre-rigged election on the throats of citizens," Wandayi added.

This is bullshit- now they want to hold the country in hostage again in 2017 like they did last time , bure kabisa
They can boycott if they choose, but should they interfere in any way with the process of a democratic election, they should be placed in custody until the elections are completed, Kenya Government should stop negotiating with an organization that is trying to cannibalize, the safety of the citizens by holding the government hostage on everything the government does, from what brand of bathroom supplies the government buys to where the government buys food to feed the people going hungry.
Elections will go on rain or shine. It's your choice to appear or not appear. Fire IEBC, they get fired; but this one is a different story all together.
