Sh12 Million Winner Says He Dreamt of Jackpot Windfall, President Uhuru's Victory

A lucky man who won the Sh12 million Jackpot after placing a bet with a top gambling Kenyan firm, BetYetu on Wednesday left members of the fourth estate in stitches, when he claimed that he dreamt of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s victory in the August 8 elections.

Speaking during his unveiling as the BetYetu’s pioneer jackpot winner after predicting 13 football matches results correctly, Edwin Kiarie Muniu revealed that he had dreamt that he was going to win big cash, and also President Uhuru’s win in the upcoming polls.

“This is a dream come true. I actually dreamt that I had won a lot of money. I even shared this with my wife, ask her,” Kiarie, who was accompanied by his wife Maureen and 10-year-old daughter Melissa, said.

Kiarie added: “I also dreamt that President Uhuru (Kenyatta) had been re-elected and he was there taking oath of office again, same to (Mike) Sonko and (Ferdinand) Waititu. At the time, I was wondering what kind of dreams they were. But now it is making lots of sense.”

President Kenyatta is seeking to be re-elected for another five year term in the August 8 general elections on a Jubilee Party ticket and will face his main rival Raila Odinga of the National Super Alliance (NASA).

Senator Mike Sonko and Kabete Member of Parliament, Waititu, are separately vying for the Nairobi and Kiambu gubernatorial posts respectively.

About the fact that NASA has gone to court to challenge the Al-Ghurai tender.I think that the courts should support the IEBC and allow Al-Ghurai to print the ballot papers. The reason being, the problem we are having right now is that NASA is coming up with this endless allegations against the ballot printing process in order to slow down the election process.Should the courts give in to NASA's allegations, there is nothing preventing NASA to come up with even more stupid allegations against the ballot printing process should another company be offered the printing tender. Then also who knows, another company(if the Al-Ghurai tender is cancelled) may also have its own problems that may be even more problematic than the problems we are facing right know.It is time that the courts gathered up enough courage and basically tell NASA, enough is enough. We have to go to the election as a country. The ruling JUBILEE PARTY, has gone to a lot of lengths to accommodate the opposition. For example by allowing the previous commissioners to be removed. It is now time to go for the election. If NASA is looking for 'UTOPIC PERFECTION' then they should know that utopic perfection does not exist anywhere in the world. IEBC made a good decision to choose Al-Ghurai. Al-Ghurai is good enough. This election is going to be won by the PARTY that has the most KENYANS voting for it.Not by Stupid and dangerous gimmicks of delaying the elections.

We have had enough of our Gikuyu and Kalenjin brothers and sisters in power.

To my Gikuyu brothers and sisters, achieving independence in 1963 did not mean that we wanted new Kenyans acting just like the British to rule us for ever! We are sick and tired of hearing about re-electing Uhuru. We are not like the warthog with a 15 second memory span.

Since 1963, there is no time that my Gikuyu brothers and sisters were not in power. Kamau was in power for about 15 years. He then had Oginga Odinda and Joseph Murumbi as his deputies for a short span of less than three years. Toroitich was his deputy since 1967 until his death in August 22, 1978. Toroitich was in power for about 24 years. He had two deputy president Mwai and Saitoti both members of the " nyumba ya Gikuyu na Mumbi."
In 2002 Kenya had another "mumbi's" son (Mwai) as president for 10 years, followed by another "mumbi's son (uhuru).

Now uhuru wants to be there for 10 years while his deputy is a member of the "Chamugee missing" house. This " chamugee" man wants to be in for another 10 years when he becomes president in 2022.

My dear "wi mwega" and " Chamugee missing " brothers and sisters, Kenya is made of other micro-nations whose mothers would like to give birth to a son or a daughter who will be the future president of our nation. For goodness sake, please let someone else go to our state house who is not a "mwega" or "karara" micro nation. You are not acting different from the British. Oppression is oppression, you are now the new British in Kenya!
