President Uhuru Appoints Kanze Dena as the New State House Spokesperson

President Uhuru Kenyatta has appointed Kanze Dena as the new State House Spokesperson and head of the Presidential Service Communication Unit (PSCU) in acting capacity.

Kanze's promotion comes barely a month after she was named Deputy State House Spokesperson by President Uhuru. She replaces Manoah Esipisu, who has been nominated as an Ambassador in new appointments announced on Friday.

"Now that my boss Manaoh Esipisu has been redeployed, I wish to announce I am the acting State House spokesperson," she said on Friday.

Esipisu has served as the State House spokesman since 2013, when President  Kenyatta assumed office for his first term.

Before her appointment as Deputy State House Spokesperson last month, Kanze was working at Royal Media Services as a Kiswahili news anchor on Citizen TV.
