A Nigeria woman has been arrested with suspected narcotics at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

25-year-old Princess Okoye was arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) on Monday.

In a statement, the DCI says the suspected drug trafficker was found with 77 pellets of suspected narcotics concealed in plastic bottles containing milk.

DRUGS

She also emitted an additional 15 pellets which she had swallowed.

“Upon being placed under observation, she emitted an additional 15 pellets,” reads a statement from the DCI.

NARCOTICS

Detectives believe the Nigerian national was preparing to board a plane to Italy.

Her arrest comes a week after detectives impounded heroin worth Sh1.5 million at the JKIA.

The DCI said the consignment was destined for Guinea and was disguised as a generator spare part.

If you see one roach somewhere chances are that there are thousands hiding within the rich. This Nigerian case is not an isolated case. Nigerians are now in Kenya to stay and with them they have brought Kenyans gift of narcotics, vondo, scams, money launderings, witchcraft, body parts trafficking, bank robberies and any unlawful acts one can think of. Nigeria have long been considered a rogue state with a culture that is inherently ineptitude. Everything in Nigeria is quashed. It bafflers me because I can't understand what Kenyans sees in Nigerians. Nigerians are extremely evil people and their evilness is embedded in their DNA. China does not have Nigerian drug problems like Kenya have because if a Nigerians are caught with drugs in China they get hanged. Maybe that is what Kenya to do in order to completely eradicate this Nigerian menace

The only solution to Nigerians criminal problems is to execute them. Hang Nigerians criminals from right to left. Saudi Arabia does it, China does it Malaysia does it and so should we because it is the only proven methods that woks to deter Nigerians from committing heinous crimes. Of course we are a nation of law and laws should be enacted to set the record straight and Nigerians caught committing criminal acts should go through due process

I would advocate she is locked up and throw away the keys and that goes to anyone caught in this nasty business! I have an addict within the family and I can testify addiction is worse than a disease, at least with a disease even if terminal, you can be proactive with your loved one by caring for them, tending to them, etc.. Addiction is a bi**t! It erodes personality, pushes your loved one away from the family and basically affects everyone around them. I have never smoked (thank God) and pray I never experience this (Amen), but watching a loved one disintegrate slowly is so bloody painful, so I say, lock them up and throw away the keys!

If data and statistics is something to go by Kenya will have the most developed economy in Africa come 2032 according to the World Bank projection. It's economy will supersede that of South Africa, Egypt and Nigeria. Similarly, within the same time period Nigerian's population will surpass 230 million people. The World Bank predicts that within the same period Nigerian's oil based economy will continue to stagnate or have a growth of less than 1%. This prediction even though exciting to Kenyans carries a lot of risks because it means Nigeria with it's stagnating economy will have to find unorthodox ways to boost it's economy in order to sustain it's increased population. To cater for that it's most likely Nigeria will turn it's attention to the Africa's new economic superpower Kenya. This it will do by exporting it's scammers to others countries in order to cut down it's unemployment rate. Nigeria has an estimated 120 million con artists or scammers operating within Nigeria and another 1 million operating overseas. Nairobi itself is believed to harbor around 50,000 Nigerians scammers that works in cahoots with local scammers and corrupt Kenyan officials and mostly target Western countries through unregulated internet cafes. According to published reports by 2032 Nigeria is predicted to have around 160 million scammers and it's economy will shift from oil based economy to mostly scam based economy. Kenya will be expected to fill the void left by South Africa. Experts believe Nigeria will try all avenues at it's disposal to try to coerce Kenya into signing bilateral agreements that will easy population movements between the two countries. As people that have vested interest in Kenya it is very important for us, especially those that are more enlightened like the ones in diaspora, to take charge and deter Nigeria from destroying Kenyan freedom and way of life. Leaders in position of influencing decisions should champion laws that calls for tough actions against Nigerians who break Kenyan laws in order to deter them from making Kenya their playing ground

Nigerians always put on a crying face whenever they are cornered doing their forte: crime all over the world. I have no personal beef with Nigers, but those who are caught should be made a lesson to the potential ones. This drug bust is lethal, considering that Kenyan liquor manufacturers seem to also be lacing the drinks with the stuff. Otherwise, how are they making the drinks that addictive? Our youth are being decimated by this poison...hang these folks or jail them for life if you can!!
