Sonko Trails Kidero in New Nairobi Governor Race Poll

It would be a neck-and-neck race for Evans Kidero and Senator Mike Sonko for the Nairobi gubernatorial race if elections were held today, a newly released poll shows.
The poll results released on Thursday by TIFA Research Company indicated that the incumbent governor Evans Kidero of ODM would trounce Jubilee’s Mike Sonko after scoring a popularity scale of 44 percent to Sonko’s 43 percent. Former Gatanga Member of Parliament Peter Kenneth comes third with 4 percent while Miguna Miguna has 1 percent. 8 percent are still undecided.
In the Nairobi senatorial race, Jubilee Party’s Johnson Sakaja enjoys 39 per cent support compared to ODM’s Edwin Sifuna at 28 per cent.
Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) candidate for Women Representative seat Esther Passaris would defeat Jubilee’s incumbent Rachael Shebesh, garnering 57 per cent approval to Shebesh’s 25 per cent.
The survey shows that support for the National Super Alliance (NASA) has been on the rise in Nairobi since last year July, rising from 38 per cent to 47 per cent in February this year to currently stand at 56 per cent.
Jubilee Party support in the county is currently at 34 per cent, the poll says.

Poor Sonko debates are not his forte and he should have sent his technocrat deputy Polycarp to the debate. He has the money and his heart appears to be in the right place as far as helping the poor nairobians but he was humiliated by Miguna and mocked by Kidero who reminded Kenyans that he has never been handcuffed or jailed.Kidero still needs to go he has done NOTHING for Nairobi .

If people are concerned about "English" self expression , experience and suits, Kidero has all, what has he done but loot everywhere he lands? People should give Sonko a chance, not really a fan but then what's the alternative? The same? That's what has doomed kenya.
