President Uhuru Disagrees with Supreme Court Verdict, Ready for Fresh Elections

President Uhuru Kenyatta says that he is ready for a fresh election, even if he personally disagrees with the Supreme Court decision to nullify his re-election.

The head of state said that he however, accepts and respects the decision by the highest court in the land.

In his address to the nation on Friday, President Kenyatta said his victory was as a result of “the will of the people”.

He urged Kenyans to maintain peace and exuded confidence that he will trounce his arch-rival Raila Odinga one more.

"We are ready to go back again to the people with the same agenda, an agenda of unifying the country,".

"Again Kenyans i say Peace, Peace, Peace, your neighbour remains your neighbour. The court has made this decision, we don't agree with it but we respect it,".

" I personally disagree with the ruling today, but i respect it. It is important for us as Kenyans to respect with the rule of the law," he said.

Wembe ni ule ule!!! Tulienda Hague na tukarudi..... Hata tukifanya uchaguzi mwingine, tutawashinda pia na watakimbia to the Kenyan rotten court again as usual. All what the Supreme Court has done is to promote Uhuru from President Elect to President period. Msimu huu watashangaa.

Round hii Raila atalimwa na Uhuru vibaya sana. All what the Supreme Court has done is to make things straight. Prove and confirm to Kenyans and the entire world that Raila can't beat Uhuru on the ballot and he will never be President of Kenya. Actually, this is a setup. Raila won't even be able to complain this time round. Raila is being put to shame lakini yeye anashangilia tu
