Raila Denied Visa to the US, Dennis Itumbi Claims

State House director of digital communications Dennis Itumbi alleges that opposition chief Raila Odinga has been denied entry to the US.

In a post on his Facebook page, Itumbi claimed that the former Prime Minister had planned to travel to US for a 10 – day tour before the October 26th repeat election, which he withdrew from on Tuesday.

“Raila has been denied entry to USA and he had planned to go for around 10 days in New York. He was denied Visa,” Itumbi wrote.

Speaking in a media briefing at Okoa Kenya on Monday, Raila said that he voluntarily opted not to attend a public lecture in the US, where he had been invited, and preferred to attend one in the UK.

“It will be just a day event and people should not be worried about that. I will attend and later on come back,” he stated ahead of his tour to Chatham in UK.

On Tuesday, Raila and his running mate Kalonzo Musyoka formally bowed out of the repeat presidential race citing the lack of commitment by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to conduct a free and fair election.

Yes. Finally someone saw thru all these bullshit. You forment trouble non stop and then you get on a flight to foreign lands and leave the masses suffering. Enough is enough. This should be labeled as treason and dealt with accordingly. Stop holding the Wananchi hostage. Shopkeepers are even afraid to open up shops due to daily demonstrations and hooliganism. Enough.

Haha, how should Raila be allowed to travel to foreign lands ostensibly to lecture on democracy while leaving Kenyans rioting and looting shops? Shame on this jinga-kabisa-mkosa-mila

All will be okay.Remember former president Moi's handing over to kibaki? Humiliation was the order of that day and few days that followed. But after some time, moi was seen to be better than kibaki and pple cried for moi but was late. Rao will go and i am sure pple will ask even for his simple comment on the free education come January 2018. my thought,,,,,
