Governor Mike Sonko's Wife Primrose Rescues Nairobi Family Living in an Abandoned Car for Two Years [VIDEO]

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's wife Primrose Mbuvi has come to the rescue of a Kibra family that has been living in an abandoned car for the past two years.

The Nairobi county First Lady has offered to help the family after their plight was highlighted in a story recently aired on KTN TV.

Ms Mbuvi said she will get the family a temporary shelter and take the children to school before finding a permanent solution.

“The First Lady has offered to provide a temporary shelter for the father of two who is currently living inside an abandoned car in Makina,” Governor Sonko said in a post on social media on Tuesday.

The man by the name Ishmael Abdalla Khamis has been living in the scrap car with his two sons; Talib and Said Ishmael after his water vending business crumbled in 2013. Shortly after, his wife abandoned him and their kids.
