NGO Officials Arrested for Allegedly Recruiting Kenyan Youth into Homosexuality

Police have arrested two officials working for a Mombasa-based NGO for allegedly recruiting youth into homosexuality.

The two have been arrested after police officers who were acting on a tip-off from members of the public raided the lobby group's offices in Mombasa.

Police say they received information that the NGO has secretly been luring young girls and boys into the gay community.

“We received reports that they are recruiting youth to join the community,” a police officer told Nairobi News.

The two were taken to Makupa Police Station where they were questioned for several hours before they were set free.

“We received complaints from members of the public about the activities of the organization. We raided and nabbed some of its staff for questioning,” the officer attached to Makupa Police Station adds.

This comes amid reports of increased cases of homosexuality in Nairobi and Mombasa Counties. Homosexuality is illegal in Kenya with offenders risking a jail sentence of up to 14 years.

@ Guest1 Thank you. First of all this is not a problem exclusive to Kenya. Crooks are all over the world, even in the Vatican City where the pope rules supreme .(your Holy father)
I see no difference between that and
a Kenyan,or an african man marrying a 12 year old girl. Do you?
And yes I do not condone this act.I do not believe that these young kids have the mental maturity to consent.
Secondly, Iam sure you have heard the term,"gay for pay". Male heterosexuals willing to be banged for money... essentially prostitution.
The article does not negate my notion that homosexuality is not a choice just,as much as a 12 year old girl in samburu gets married to a 60 year old man,is not a choice.
You seem to think that homosexuality it the worse evil in the world, and I say way far from it. Prove me wrong.
And yes if there any anylaws broken, let the offenders be punished.

If the law says homosexuality is a crime then it need to be enforced just as Michuki Law is being enforced on Matatu operators. Law is law. If someone choses to live a faggot life they are at liberty to do so but they should respect the law of the land

No one can be ‘recruited into homosexuality’ maybe solicited for(gay)prostitution. No straight person can be recruited into homo stuff ‘u is or u ain’t’

Some CATS are so Notorious of Experimening on their CURIOSITY to point of DEATH (or Attachment or Addiction to be Exact).
Nb: When some NIGERUAN Women (especially Married ones) in Diaspora like US and Europe) talk about "Mama Meetings" on so on coming Friday or Saturday: This is their CODEname for their "LESBIAN Orgies or LESBIAN Sleepovers" that takes firever fir their Husbands or Family members to figure out. And this is why your would see many of them NIJA women with Beards (and you Wonder why). It's Lesbians on Steroids.

Daktari you say that "If someone choses to live a faggot life they are at liberty to do so but they should respect the law of the land." It's like saying that "If someone choses to live a SINFUL life they are at liberty to SIN but they should respect the law of the land of do NOT Sin". Very confusing.

@ Guest 1, sinning is not the same as breaking the law of the land,in most cases. For example your church tells you that sex before marriage is a sin,but the law of the land does not.The law of the land allows drinking, many say your good book forbid...
And yes Iam aware that countries under sheria law do not usually separate sin from law of the land. But over whilmingly most countries in the civilized world do.
Iam still waiting for you to prove me wrong on my earlier post.
