DP William Ruto Changes Tune, Throws Support Behind BBI Report
Deputy President William Ruto appears to have changed his stand on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) report.
Taking to Twitter, Ruto expressed support for a new article introduced in the BBI report, saying it will address the needs of ordinary Kenyans.
“New article 11A in the BBI Constitution bill introduced after Bomas will anchor ordinary people’s Hustler economics of wheelbarrow, boda×2, mama mboga, pastoralists/butchers & guaranteed minimum returns on coffee, tea, korosho, sukari, maize. Bottom up not trickle-down economics,” Ruto wrote on Friday.
Article 11A in the Constitution amendment bill talks about the economy and shared prosperity.
In a separate tweet on Saturday, Ruto said they are working on consensus to avoid a contested referendum.
“I’ve constitutional duty to assist my boss, the President. We’ve made improvements to BBI post Bomas. Now working on consensus for Kenyans to have real choices to decide/vote while avoiding yes/no, all/nothing division. We avoided win-lose we can overcome win-lose to achieve win-win.”
Ruto’s apparent change of heart comes days after President Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga launched the countrywide collection of signatures for the BBI referendum.
BBI Secretariat joint secretaries Junet Mohamed and Dennis Waweru said the exercise will take a week before the signatures are presented to IEBC for verification. Kenyans can append their signatures online on www.bbisignatures.org.

Does anyone remember reading an article about 2007/2008 PEV? Maybe there was blackmail? He was told to get himself in line before the case was brought back up? Or maybe his strategy for power has evolved.

Ruto is making a tactical retreat because he knows TangaTanga have lost favor with the people, and that his NO side cannot win! He now wants to be carried in the wings of Uhuru and Raila.

Looks to me that if this BBI is passed:
1)Ruto is going to be president 2)Uhuru will be the prime minister and 3) Raila will possibly be the leader of official opposition.

The game is om to take Raila out of the picture.
UHURU and RUTO are just playing games with the masses.
Both are just thinking of ways to protect their ill gotten gains.

A bloody(with elimination of all elite gangsters) revolution is the only alternative for Kenyans to move an inch forward. As things stand now, whoever is elected among the two, only these thugs will benefit from the amendments.Pole sana if you think there will be inclucivity of all Kenyans. Why add the elites' posts/seats instead of employing,say-10 doctors,30 nurses or 100 teachers and 10 classes per school per county with one month's salary to be paid to the additional 100 MPs and 30 other duplicating officials? Why wasn't the gender rule scrapped instead of adding the laggage of more MODERN GREEN tranders to the overtaxed Kenyans?

What are you waiting for @menye to start your own revolution?? Do you know the cost of war? What an air head bustard? That’s all I could figure out from the mambo Jambo you are vomiting here!
Just go fight alone with your wife (wives, concubines, harrots and whores) and your kids if you have any to take up the weapons with you.
Kenyans know better to listen to a fool calling for a damn revolution! Head on to Ethiopia and fight with them there but make you keep that nonsense there!

Ruto is a chameleon which camouflages itself with the surrounding political environment. He steals ideas from others to make himself sound original.
He is losing the BBI war because he does not ever take a position in anything! He is a coward with just an empty big mouth which has no substance to it.
